1. mission accomplished. the barge has never let me find a lost inmate before but I think the strain may have been a bit much. best not to say anything in case she notices.
2. mystique may be a rough one. she used to knock around with my Vic. we've kinda sorta made friends, a bit? as in she didn't murder me when I accidentally got in her cabin and she did put me down when I caught the Slaughter in the library.
this probably counts as bosom friendship for her. pls let me know if I can be any use with her.
[He's generally on the side of the importance of not saying anything that could be caught.]
She's been running around in different bodies, right. We usually don't get that many here and gone inmates all at once. [He pays very careful attention to these things.]
Do you know where she falls on the mutants/humans opinion line?
1. she has. she's from the same world as Scott and Jean and all that lot. my friend Jon had her last month and they didn't get along at all. he's been attacked by things that work like she does and she doesn't like to be seen, it was a recipe for disaster from both ends.
2. pretty sure it'd be better if she knew you were human-plus right from the off.
[He always does his best to be open when talking with inmates, especially the ones assigned to him. It feels like it's part of what he signed up for. But that doesn't mean he can't make sure some things come up quickly.]
I'm a lot better than when I left. I don't care enough to break Ford's nose for him any more, which I suppose is an improvement. I still don't want him to exist in my general vicinity ever again and if he ever tries to explain anything to me I will kill him without mercy.
That's good. The feeling better. It's hard dealing with people like that, not caring as much is probably good. Especially because I don't think you'd like being an inmate.
I cared abouit him. all his gross little habits that are just a result of not caring about anyon ebut himself and I was telling myself he was just cute and awkward.
no.
awkward =/= being an egregious self-obsessed arsehole. apparently I didn't get that memo.
['Awkward' isn't really his type, but people who care more about themselves than you might try to believe - well, he doesn't like to think that he's been there.]
believing people can be better is part of being here. sometimes i think that it makes it even more complicated.
to be fair, if they're going back to a lot of worlds, dealing with people yelling about murder while having an emotional breakthrough is necessary in its way.

That's a useful first step.
